Let’s talk chaos!
You’re not alone!
Do you ever feel like you’re running out of space on the hat rack?
You’re the accountant.
You’re the artist.
You’re the content creator.
You’re the editor.
You’re the videographer.
You’re the bookkeeper.
You’re the supportive bestie.
Do I need to keep going?
Some days it feels impossible to keep up, right? This is exactly why balancing and scheduling tasks is crucial.
Creating content 30 days in advance, setting aside specific days and times to tackle tasks, and—let’s be real—not overloading yourself. Know when to walk away.
I’ve made it a rule: If it feels overwhelming, step away and come back. Tomorrow, you might be able to handle it.
Like when a DM demands your attention… it’s okay to leave it until you’re mentally ready to deal with it.
Planning an event like I am? Trust me, there are plenty of times I create something and then step away.
Learning new skills for event planning has been a headache at times, but now I know when to walk away and come back—no shame in that!
Something else to try: ask for help! Call up your bestie and talk through your to-do list. Maybe they’ll help knock out a few tasks, or maybe they’ll just offer advice on how to tackle it all.
Amid the chaos, there’s always room for balance. Take a step back, make a list, and prioritize: what needs attention now and what can wait? Some things are monthly tasks, some are one-time jobs, and others are ever-evolving.
