Social Media Headache

So, people ask me how I grew my following, and I’ll be real—I’m not totally sure! But here’s what I do know from my journey, and trust me, it helps to ask others too for different perspectives!

1. Your first 1,000 followers? Feels like forever. But it’s all part of the process.

2. Make your page public and switch to a business/creator account. Stats are your friends when it comes to growth.

3. Hashtags are key! I used to dread writing them out every time until a fellow artist, Callie, showed me how to create shortcuts on my keyboard. Game-changer! Just remember to switch them up and research what works.

4. Use your story! I post there daily—share anything and everything that fits your vibe.

5. Post at least twice a day. Yep, being a content creator is another job. If you want to grow, you’ve got to grind.

6. Reels are a thing. I was anti-reels at first, but now I get it. Put in the effort, and soon enough, you can start making money from them. So, here I am, creating more reels than just photos!

But here’s the biggest tip: don’t overthink it. I used to obsess over likes, follower counts, views, and now reels… and yes, even how much money I could make from them! Trust me, don’t get caught up in the numbers game. Focus on creating content like you would for 5 followers or 500—it’s all about consistency and balance.
