Manifestation, Mindset & Making Sh*t Happen
Let’s talk about taking action—and not just surface-level action. I mean soul-led action. The kind that starts with clarity and intention, backed by belief and a plan. You can’t manifest what you don’t claim. You can’t reach a destination if you don’t know where you’re going.
This is why setting goals—speaking them out loud, writing them down, visualizing them—is so damn important. When you take the time to name what you want, your energy shifts. Your mindset starts aligning with that vision, and you begin showing up differently. That’s manifestation in motion.
Yes, I believe in manifestation. I also believe it’s a total mind game—a bit of a mindfuck, honestly. Your brain is always listening, always soaking in the energy you put out. It doesn’t know if your thoughts are good or bad—it just runs with whatever you feed it. So when you’re constantly thinking negative, acting from lack, or doubting your worth, your brain thinks, “Cool, this must be what we want more of.”
And guess what? It delivers.
That’s why living in a scarcity mindset will only ever create more scarcity. Even if you have enough, you’ll feel like you don’t. But when you start living from a place of abundance—when you believe you have enough, are enough, and there’s more coming your way—you create a completely different reality.
People who live in abundance don’t see failure as the end. They see it as a pivot. A redirection. A lesson. And that’s the kind of mindset you need when you’re self-employed, building your dream, and making your own damn rules.
Confidence comes from that same space. Confidence isn’t just about walking into a room loud and proud. It’s about believing that what you have to offer is valuable. That you’re capable. That your path is unfolding exactly how it should. The more you embrace abundance, the more that confidence becomes your default setting.
And look, we all have bad days. Days where the doubts are loud, the comparison hits hard, and the motivation is missing. That’s normal. But living in that space for too long? That’s where you start sabotaging your progress and killing your confidence.
One bad day? You bounce back. A bad mindset that lasts for weeks? That’s a problem. So be mindful of your energy. Let yourself feel, but don’t let those feelings build a permanent home.
Now let’s talk action-meets-manifestation. I’ve got stories.
I remember thinking how cool it would be to get a PR package—not just because of the free product, but because it felt like recognition. Like, “Okay, people are seeing me.” I didn’t go ask for it, but I said it out loud. I thought about it. I knew I wanted it. Not long after, I got a random gift from MANGOMINT, then even better than that was American Creator, they hit me up and sent me a nail product box. Just like that.
Another time, I watched a reality show and randomly thought, “Damn, I’d love to be invited to an influencer event.” I visualized it, let it go, and just trusted that it would happen when the time was right. A few weeks later? An invite slid in. (Can’t share details yet, but stay tuned.)
It wasn’t magic. It was alignment.
But let’s be real: sometimes, the thing we think we want isn’t actually meant for us long-term—it’s just meant to teach us something. Case in point: I worked with a brand I thought was my big break. I was an educator, and I genuinely thought this role was it. Turns out, it wasn’t.
But what it was? A lesson. A pivot point. A mirror.
I learned so much through that experience—even while my confidence was being chipped away behind the scenes. I learned how to advocate for myself. I learned that just because something looks shiny on the outside doesn’t mean it’s aligned on the inside. And I learned that even when things fall apart, you can build yourself back—stronger, smarter, and more confident than ever.
So here’s what I want you to walk away with:
- Manifestation isn’t passive. It’s about energy and action.
- Your brain and the universe don’t know good from bad. They only know what you feed them.
- Live in abundance—even when it feels unnatural. Especially then.
- Set goals. Say them out loud. Write them down. Believe they’re possible.
- Trust the pivots. Even the uncomfortable ones are guiding you.
- And most of all, remember: you are worth it.
You’re not too late. You’re not asking for too much. You’re not stuck. You’re just getting started.
The world is already responding to the energy you give it. Make sure that energy is rooted in belief, not doubt. Because when you believe in your magic, everyone else starts to, too.
